What is Kinesiotaping?
Therapeutic elastic taping was first developed for the treatment and prevention of muscle, ligament, and soft tissue injury in humans in 1970s.
When kinesiology tape is applied correctly, its elasticity gently lifts the skin from the tissues underneath, creating microscopic spaces that promote a better flow of blood and lymphatic fluid.
This improved flow helps alleviate pressure and reduce swelling, allowing oxygen and other nutrients to reach damaged tissues and promote quicker healing.
What are the benefits?
Pain relief by stimulating the nervous system
Reduction of swelling
Improved blood flow and oxygen flow in the tissues
Improved sensory awareness and proprioception
